    Welcome to Wells International School – On Nut

    Welcome back to another year of learning!

    Well International School enters the 2012-2013 school year fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and in its first full year as a candidate school for the IB Diploma Programme (IB DP), which we plan to offer to our high school students beginning in the fall of 2013.

    Reflecting back to last year, it is most certainly going to be a challenge to match the accomplishments of our students, whether in academics, sports, or in the arts. And, with an unprecedented number of our graduates being accepted into top universities in the region, as well as well-respected institutions world-wide, it is obvious that we must be doing something right!

    Despite these accomplishments, we will, of course, continue to strive toward improving on the already high quality education that we provide for your children.

    Here at Wells, we firmly believe that much of a child’s success hinges on the involvement of parents in his or her life, particularly as a student. Hence, it is our goal to keep you as well-informed on what is going on at our school throughout the academic year. For starters, we would like to remind all of you to make sure you are able to log into your PowerSchool accounts. Once logged in, you can read the daily morning announcements or check on your child’s progress in every class he or she is enrolled in.     Throughout the year, we hope to see you at any of our parent workshops, meetings or parent-teacher conferences. We also encourage you to attend as many school events as possible, including interscholastic sports or any school performance or academic competition that your child might be participating in.
